I found a little time to paint and here are 2 of my assignments from Misty's class. The first is a landscape which was the easiest and fastest painting I've ever done.
This is one of the paintings from last weekend that I thought was just a mess, but with the gel transfer, it has a little promise to it.
I'm working on an idea for the bottom corner, so we'll see how that turns out tomorrow! I'm loving Misty's class!
I met my sister today at Seagrove in NC, which for anyone not familiar with this area, is a town that many potters live in. Today was their semi-annual show and I was able to go and browse through 59 different booths full of beautiful pieces of pottery. I couldn't resist buying these 2 soup bowls.
I hope your weekend is going well!

Great work Deb. Love the landscape picture and the colors!
I love Seagrove, and used to try to get there at least once a year when we lived in North Carolina.
Hi, Debbie - thanks for visiting my blog today. We are neighbors. I live in GA. I am planning on visiting you often. Good luck with your painting classes. I took oil painting before and I relly enjoyed it, but now I mostly crochet and knit.
It's raining today - oh, well...don't have to go out to walk the dog - just staying in and crochetig some projects.
Enjoy your day,
Doris :-)
Debbie I have to tell you I love your landscape, fantastic.
Love Renee xoxo
You are doing good. I have been taking classes about 2 years. Into primatives right now. Your blog is up for a highlight for my birthday month on Sunday Nov. 29. Pop over for a visit.
