Home From The Beach

Hello everyone! We had a wonderful time at the beach but I'm back now, working like crazy in my craft room to get more paintings ready for the show in October. Only 2 weeks left to prepare! Yikes! Here is a painting I finally finished:
And here are the starting sketches of 2 more that I hope to finish this weekend.
I know it's fall, but I couldn't resist at least one beach painting! I tried to sketch people on the beach everyday we were there, and got some really good ideas for paintings. Do you think it's too late for a beach painting?
I'm linking to PPF and SS! I hope you will join me! Love to you all!

Looking forward to seeing your paintings finished! In my opinion there's always space for a beach painting .... :-)

Such subtle lines and color--I felt peaceful looking at your painting. I adore your graphite sketches, too.

The finished painting is beautiful. I got such a smile from the sketch of the people on the beach with their hair flying :) M.x

Your painting is so pretty. I like the way you did her wings. I have had a hard time with wings lately.

Both of your sketches look great. I think the colder it is, the more sunny beach pictures we need! I believe art reaches people's inner soul and maybe a beach picture will bring wonderful memories to someone, regardless of the season. Or someone just might like it for no other reason than that it is great! Happy PPF and good luck getting all your pieces ready for the show, Rasz #53

I LOVE your angel! As to your question about a beach painting now, if you do it with passion it will be great. Blessings on your upcoming show!

I believe the whole purpose of the beach is to be there when the rest of the world is going through seasonal changes... we all need a beach escape occasionally!!!
