Slowly Working On A New Painting

Hello all and Happy Friday! I haven't had a chance to link to Paint Party Friday in a while, and I'm glad to finally have time in the morning for a post! I've been working on this painting for a while now, but seem to get stalled out, then it sits for days while I try to decide what else to do with it. It's still not finished, as I want to fix the angels face a little more.
\
I took my husband to the beach last weekend for his birthday. (North Myrtle Beach) We only had 2 nights there, but it was so relaxing we can't wait for our week in September.
It's been 1 year since my husband had his heart attack, and thank God he is doing well!
My arm and ribs are almost completely healed so I am trying to go to the gym again.
Well, that's all for now. I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone both at PPF and SS! I hope you will join me!

There's a very spiritual feel to your painting with its spiritual imagery, flowing shapes, and jewel tone colors. I'm glad to hear you and your husband are doing better. Happy PPF and Blessings!

Your angels piece is lovely, so warm and colourful! I've been reading your other posts and I'm so sorry to hear about your friend and that tragic accident, so very very sad. Keep safe and well,

your painting is looking so lovely Debbie. Good for you both to be on the mend and doing well-great way to celebrate with a little time at the beach. I hear so much about Myrtle Beach but have never been further south than OC, Maryland. Perhaps one day...

glad your break was relaxing... and your painting is lovely... I always think the ones you struggle with end up the best in the end so maybe you are just taking your time because it is going to be a masterpiece...xx

So glad to hear and see that your husband is doing better and you too.
Love the painting. It feels like a world that one could just play in. Very inviting.

Beautiful Angel painting, Debbie. It sounds like you and your hubby had a nice time away. Sorry to hear that he had a heart attack a year ago but it's great he is doing well now. Good that your injuries have healed too.

Visiting from Sunday Sketches ~ :)
