More Angels

Hello! I'm running a little late, so not much time for a long post. I've been reading about angels this week, which prompted this quick sketch and my journal. I'll do a better one on watercolor paper, once I figure out the details.
Reading about angels from the Bible, reminded me of a dream I had a few years ago. The strange part of the dream is that the angels were more male then female, and one of them was dressed for battle! None of them had wings either.
I'm linking with Paint Party Friday and Sunday Sketches! Have a happy Friday and weekend!

Lovely art work Debbie.
An interesting dream. If you're curious you could always check with the Dream sites just for fun and see what some of those elements mean : )

Beautiful journal page artwork. On the TV show Touched by an Angel, the angel of death was a male.

Love the art!!! I have dreams of male angels often...I"m sure there's a deeper meaning to that but haven't a clue what it is.

This is so awe-inspiring and beautiful and touching! I can relate I had a visitation from Michael years ago while ill.. and he had no wings either..but I knew who he was! Your art is powerful...this is deeply beautiful my friend..these special dreams are always very sacred for a reason..thanks for sharing such a powerful moment!

Lovely work, Debbie! An angel dressed for battle in a dream would probably signify protection and strength through hard times.
