Florida, Family, and other Odds and Ends

Hello! I'm running a little behind today, but I still wanted to post in time for Sunday Sketches. (see link on the right) I'm back from my trip to Florida, where I visited with my Mom and sister Mary.
It was my sisters birthday, and we took her to dinner at a local place called Aunt Catfish's on the River. I had the best coconut shrimp with a wonderful citrus sauce!
We also shopped and went site seeing at the local lighthouse.
I had a little time for small watercolor paintings...
and a few sketches...
I also finished the big painting I was working on last week, and my sister wants to buy it! (She's so sweet and such an encouragment to me!)
I'm late joining SS, but still plan to try and get around to see everyone! Have a wonderful week!

You amaze me how much you always create. I too love the red flowers. I can definitely see why your sister would want to buy the painting. The colors are beautiful.
