Sunday Sketch

Good morning everyone! I had company last week, so I didn't participate in Sophia's Sunday Sketch, but here is what I've been working on for a new class I'm taking with Wyanne, "Tough Love Creative." Wyanne is an awesome artist and teacher and if you are looking for a class to take, I recommend one of hers! Here is what I am working on for the class:

I still have a lot more to do!
Well, I'm off to see what everyone who signed up for the Sunday sketch has been creating. I hope you'll join me!
Have a wonderful creative day!

I always love seeing the process behind a piece. This is off to such a lovely start. Orange is my favorite color. I love the saturations used here.

this is wonderful, it will be a lovely painting when you are finished. I like the way she is gazing out over the landscape with that gorgeous sky for a backdrop.

There's so much atmosphere in this - really moody and wonderful.

This is wonderful Debbie. I like the feeling of the woman looking into the distance and your colors are so appealing.

I love it, Debbie. What you're learning makes sense to me. My 2nd oldest brother paints with oils and acrylics and one of the things he said is that you paint your "background" first. I have one big painting started from over a year ago...I SO need to work on it. First, I need an easel!!! =/

:)

Hugs! And great job!

Wow the sky is incredible! Can't wait to see what else you do with this piece. So fun to take a class and really push yourself isn't it?

Great work and glad you are back this week!

Her artwork is a lot different than any regular teacher so I know you will be actually learning something valuable from her. Not like in schools where they teach you the art terms and the basics...that is how you create drone artists. Whoa didn't mean to rant there...my bad. Anyways your artwork is beautiful and that last photo you uploaded is seriously a masterpiece!

There is something so peaceful about this painting. Your brave painting back scene also. She seems so easy to go up and talk to.
Thank you for your lovely message and thank you for visiting me.
Hope you have an amazing day!
Loads of love!
