A New Year

We had a wonderful Christmas this year with our family, and really enjoyed our grandsons with their gifts.

How was your Christmas?
I found a little time this past week, to work on painting faces...

...but I have a problem and I hope someone can help me. I can't get a really nice clean line for eyes and lips using the stabilo pencil. Are there any products that draw over paint, but have a thin point?
Any suggestions are welcome!!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Thanks for sharing your photos with us. Looks like you had a great Christmas - grand kids are super! Your faces are wonderful! I wish I could help you with the pencil question. I am taking Misty Mawn's portrait class and it starts next week - can't wait! I hope to learn a lot. Happy New Year Debbie!

Awww...Grandsons! Lucky!!!! My day will come~ The faces are great. I know what you mean about thin lines. I have had some success with a "photo ink pen" designed to write on photographs (permanent ink). The trick is that you need to wait until your acrylic paint is completely dry. I use it to sign my paintings and sometimes on the mouths.
