Another try at SOC

Good morning and welcome to my 3rd attempt at Summer of Color. I started this painting a couple of weeks ago, and realized this morning that it has the colors for the weekly challenge for SOC. (see link on the right if you want to join in!)
It's a good thing since I've been a little busy with my husband lately, and haven't had time to paint. He had a heart attack early Saturday morning, and just came home from the hospital yesterday. He's doing fine, but still needs to stay quiet until the wounds from the surgery heal. It's amazing how quickly the EMS was here and that the Doctor was ready for him and could take him so quickly into surgery. We are so thankful today to the Lord!
I will also be linking with Paint Party Friday and Sunday Sketches too.
Have a wonderful week!

Beautiful work and use of color. I scrolled down and saw your other paintings, which are also wonderful. They bring peace and an overall good feeling to the viewer...not easy but you have the gift. I hope your husband recovers fully and quickly...and I'll stop by again soon.
