WIP for PPF & SS

Hello everyone! I started this new painting this week with a fall theme:
I can't seem to get enough of pumpkins! It's hard to see in the sketch, but the girl is holding one, and the field behind her is full of them! Fall is such a pretty time of year, and orange is one of my favorit colors, so I'm anxious to finish this painting.
I've been reading lately about a supplement called curcumin. If you haven't heard about it, it reduces inflamation, and may help to ward off several illnesses, including cancer and Alzheimers. Since my father had Alzheimers, I decided to start taking it recently. I'm thankful that God has created natural cures and helped people to find them.
I hope you are all blessed with good health! Have a wonderful weekend!

Hi Debbie. I never heard of Curcumin. Does it have anything to do with cumin? I'll have to do some research. Yes I can see the pumpkin the little girl is holding. Nice job.

she's lovely already-looking forward to seeing her finished. I have auto immune and inflammatory issues along with some osteo arthritis and I also prefer natural medicines and herbs. Tho I've heard of curcumin I take turmeric. Happy PPF!

THis looks like it will be a beauty. Looking forward to seeing it done. My friend took curcumin for anti-inflamatory. She said that when she was taking it she wasn't sure it was doing much. It takes a while to build up in the system over time. But, when she stopped taking it, she noticed a difference. So, her conclusion is that it works. Happy PPF

Looks like it will be a lovely painting when done.On Dr Oz's show recently he had a thing on artificial butters and flavorings saying it can contribute to Alzheimer's the chemical in it can gunk up the brain waves somehow..Something called Diacityle in your margarine's. Better to use real butter or whipped butter and stay away from ALL things with artificial butter flavors in it.HPPF

Very cute WIP!
I've heard of curcumin and I use it in my green smoothies. I read that if one adds a bit of black pepper with curcumin it fortifies the good effects, I think this is Ayurveda, ancient Indian medicine.

Your gal is sweet and i too am filled with pumpkins lately but of the fabric kind…just finished making a charlotte the spider fairytale pumpkin pin cushion lol now I was contemplating to add one to my ghost cat painting but not so sure if I will.Your painting is going to look beautiful when you add the colour to them, happy and so Autumn . Look forward to seeing the work completed.

About the cucumin, my mom is very religious about taking it especially after loosing her husband from cancer as well as some of close friends who are now dealing with the same dreaded disease and Alzheimer's.The cucumin suppose to be helpful as well as Tumeric, not sure if it's helping, she says it does but her probiotic pills certainly are; they keep the inflammation ( diverticulitis ) at bay!!!!!!!.

Loving the wip, can't wait to see it finished... I put curcumin in lots of my Indian dishes. Alzheimer's is a terrible disease. My mother-in-law had it. Seems to touch nearly every family in one way or another...
