Sunday Sketches

Hello and welcome to this weeks Sunday Sketch, hosted by Sophia. (see link on the right)

She is already glued into my journal page and ready to be painted.
Below is my sketch from 2 weeks ago...almost finished. I just have a few more details to add.

Last weekend, my family came over for my birthday on Saturday and Sunday Tori and I had a shower for my daughter in law, Amy. It was such a busy weekend I didn't have time to post anything! Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the weekend.

Isn't Levi sooo cute?

Amy is due in 3 weeks!

Grant is adorable!
I'll be at the beach next weekend for a whole week and I probably won't have my computer. It might be a couple of weeks before I participate in the Sunday Sketch again.
Have a great week everyone!

Debbie, your mermaid is lovely, great color choices. Your new one is coming along very well, is this for the sketchbook project or just your personal sketchbook?

Thanks everyone for your kind comments! They have brightened my day! Marlene, the new sketch is for the sketchbook project. I'm about 2/3rds of the way done!

She's carrying like I did - all out front. Does she have trouble getting up out of a chair?
Adorable finished mermaid. I'm loving all my mermaid textures and colours I'm preparing in the Suzi Blu class.
