Below is a painting I've been working on this week. I'm still working on her face and dress, and plan to add wings.

Hello all and happy Friday! I have another wip to share this week. It has many layers of paper, paint and varnish, along with stamps and trasfers. I hope you enjoy!

Finished Painting for SS

Good morning! I'm linking with Blue Chair Diary Illustrations for Sunday Sketches this week. (See link on right) The painting below was started earlier in the week and I finished it yesterday. She's confident of the future because the creator of the universe is watching over her!

Here are some close up shots of the texture in the background.

I'm thinking of selling her either on Etsy or Ebay. Does anyone have any advice on which is better? Happy Sunday and have a wonderful week!

Sunday Sketches

Good morning! I've been working on this painting for a week now, and I think I still have a few corrections to make, but here is what it looks like so far:

I'm calling this painting "She can laugh at the days to come" from Proverbs 31:25. We all have worries in our lives, but when we trust God, we can look at the future and have peace knowing He is in control. Hello all! This has been a crazy week for me, so when I came home today, I knew there was only one thing to do...Pray and Paint! I finally was able to take a deep breath and relax.

I have an idea of what I want to add, so hopefully I'll have this completed soon. I'm linking to Paint Party Friday.(see link on the right) I hope you'll join in the fun!
