I'm practicing mermaids so I can paint one for my granddaughter someday, and the birdcage and birds are for the WIP from last weekend.
Here is my finished journal page for the Sketchbook Journal tour.
That's all I have for now, and I'm not sure how much painting I'll get done today. Yesterday was my birthday and friends are taking me to a movie today. Yah! We're going to see "Switched." Has anyone seen it yet? It looks like a fun movie.

your mermaid is sweet as can be. how lovely to plan a painting for some day. I have not seen that movie, or gone to the movies in quite a while, perhaps it is time.
