Sunday Sketch and Baby News!

Good morning all and welcome to this weeks entry for Sunday Sketches hosted by Sophia. (see link to the right) I couldn't resist these beautiful tulips at Harris Teeter yesterday.

And here is my quick sketch I did in my journal, which I hope to paint later today:

I made a few changes to a painting I posted a few weeks ago, after Wyanne critiqued it, and here is how it looks:

I love it so much more. Thanks again Wyanne, for the awesome "Tough Love Creative" class! If you are looking for one on one coaching, her class is perfect!
And now for the baby news...Yes! My daughter Tori and her husband Dean are expecting their 2nd child in October! Here is the way they told us when we went to visit 2 weeks ago:

This will be our 4th grandchild! We are so blessed! Have a happy Sunday everyone!

You mentioned Harris Teeter, I used to love going there when i lived in Charlotte, NC, way back when...it was always such a nice store! we don't have them here -

Grandchildren always sound like the perfect relationship - congratulations! Love how your tulips are so soft - sometimes tulips are so stiff adn upright - other times and as they age they soften! Would love to see this coloured tulips are so happy!
