I sketched a couple of new girls this week. (for more Sunday sketches see my link on the side bar) I'm trying the 3/4 face, but really struggling with it. Maybe one of these will get painted, I'm not sure yet which 1.
We had so much fun last weekend and again this weekend hanging out with family. Yesterday, my niece and her kids were here for a few hours, along with Tori and her family. Here are a few pictures from the visit. This first is my niece Katie loving on Levi:
and these are my 2 great nieces playing with Levi:
We had such a good time. I only wish everyone lived closer so they could visit more often!
Have a great week everyone!

Lovely girls, i like them both!
It's so nice having wonderful time with your family!!
great sketches and cute babes! Your sketches have an old fashioned feel to them which I love.

Great sketches, it is good to try different views of faces. I need to work on someone looking down, that is hard for me. Cute baby!
I like them both, they seem to beg to be finish
Debbie,
So glad to hear that you had a wonderful time with your family. :)
I think you did a GREAT job with your faces. My favourite one is the first one. She is SO beautiful!! Paint her first! :D hee hee
Happy Sunday! Hugs!
Beautiful sketches. 3/4 is much more difficult than head on isn't it?
I like the first one best! I'm doing that Suzi course too. I must practice some more...
I have a very hard time with the three quarter view also. Something about the slight variation on where all the parts of the face go always seems off to me. lol
Your two sketches are really beautiful, they both look like such elegant ladies! :) Hope you are having a great Sunday! ~Lauren
I think you did a great job...you're being too hard on yourself.....definitely paint the first one...really like her....
Hugs
Oh we love the girls and their curls!
Oh, what adorable children - they are sooooo huggably sweet. Yes, I wish too that they would live closer. It's so much fun watching the little tods ;-)
